Adel S. Khalil, DDS, MD

Dr. Adel Khalil attained his undergrad degree in Biology from Oakland University, Rochester Hills , MI.  He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in Detroit, MI.  Dr. Khalil then obtained his Doctor of Medicine at Wayne State University, Detroit,MI.  He completed a 4-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at St. John Providence Health System in the Metro Detroit Area.

Dr. Khalil has received several academic awards during his training. He volunteers extensively through projects to treat the uninsured in his community and has traveled on several surgical missions to Colombia and Ethiopia to treat children with maxillofacial malformations and deformities.

Dr. Khalil practices the full scope of the specialty. This includes a special interest in pathology, orthognathics, facial trauma, dental implants, TMJ, and cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Khalil is a member of numerous local and national organizations and he is an attending staff at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley. Dr. Khalil has previously served as President of The Berkeley Dental Society.

Dr. Khalil is an anesthesia examiner for the Dental Board of California, helping the state and our community stay safe.
