jay fedorowicz, DDS,
Diplomate of the American Board of oral and maxillofacial surgery
Dr. Fedorowicz received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Master of Science in Biochemistry from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry in Detroit, Michigan.
He joined the United States Air Force as a general dentist where he spent 3 years treating military personnel and their families. He then completed 4 years in oral and maxillofacial surgery training in the Air Force, where he obtained his certificate, ultimately achieving the title of Chief of Oral Surgery Flight Commander.
Dr. Fedoromicz has also completed fellowship in Head and Neck Microvascular Reconstruction Surgery at UCSF Fresno, CA.
He is currently a staff surgeon at Saint Agnes Medical Center and Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno, CA. Dr. Fedorowicz is also currently an attending faculty at UCSF Fresno, and the Chairman for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program.
Dr. Fedorowicz enjoys treating patients with wisdom teeth extractions, IV general anesthesia, dental alveolar surgery, bone graft, dental implants, and facial trauma surgery. He is among the select few on the cutting edge treatment for sleep apnea, due to special certificates that he’s obtained in Inspire Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulator and LivaNova Vagal Nerve Stimulator for treatment of sleep apnea.
He will soon be retiring from the military life and will join us as a full-time surgeon where he will be able to spend more time with his family, and be able to enjoy his civilian life. In his spare time, Dr. Fedorowicz enjoys reading, hiking, spending time with his family and traveling.
